Joe Shumock, a former CPA, Financial Planner and U.S. Army Veteran, never expected to realize his early dreams of becoming an author. Currently, Joe is the author of seven published books. His “Letter Series” has been his most passionate and compelling works. Joe’s most recent novel is The Last Parade which is the fifth novel in the Letter Series.  He is currently working on the sixth story in the “Letter Series” and expects to launch by the end of 2026. Joe is living his boyhood dream of one day writing the mystery suspense stories that he once read as a youngster.

When he is not writing, Shumock enjoys adventures in the North Carolina mountains where he now lives.
