The last time I spoke to you I was searching for distant relatives from my past. The outcome of my research proved to be very productive and informative. I’m very proud of my ancestors. I enjoy learning about their past, and knowing where I came from brings joy to my heart.
Today, I would like to tell you about my precious granddaughter, Josette. I love that she has been able to live her life to the fullest. She is the oldest daughter of my son Bart. Josette always wanted to be in politics. She has been very successful, making her way to the top and becoming a congresswoman. She takes the job very seriously. Josette has not married, choosing instead to make a career in Washington among some of the nation’s most powerful figures. Her entire family is very proud of her.
Josette returns here to New Orleans as much as possible. For me it is very special – she visits with me every time.
