I am not sure what the word “retired” actually means. I suppose I will always have a love for my career with the CIA. Whenever something or someone needs my help in that area, I find it difficult to say no. I still find it exciting and rewarding to be included in those cases where others find they have reached a dead end. A different perspective is always a good thing.

My latest call to duty involves a task that I would have never imagined. It has me thinking—should we trust Washington with everything that affects our lives? What about our government? Should be a no brainer, right? It isn’t.

Soon, I’ll be telling you a story about that trust. At the highest levels there are lies, deceit and especially greed.
